On second thought, maybe not. Who knew that my old work trucks I bought for $3k each were actually pretty solid investments..?

I was looking up 4.0 supercab 4x4s again last week... Prices are at Tacoma-level of absurdity.

I think the only solution is to buy one from the east and get Miss Mercedes to road trip it to you. I think her 4x4 was something crazy like $2000??

Around here if you want 4x4 with <200k miles you’re at an automatic $5k, if you want one that you can’t see through it’s closer to 10.

I know they get bashed, but at least with a manual transmission the 4 cylinder is just fine. At no point did I ever feel like I needed more power, or couldn't pass people effectively

How about a relatively c lean rwd example?

Holy shit. I paid $7k for my 05 and felt like it was kinda high. Maybe not.

Somewhat uncommon (most trucks here are 4x4 because snow) but “relatively clean” is even more
rare. I saw some decent 2wd base model ones when I was looking last year for 4-7k
.

I'm not taking a chance with east rust.

I saw a nice 4x4 ranger maybe a 2005-2008 in Post Falls ID, $17,500. WTF people they are not terrible but a ranger is no Tacoma or even Nissan.

I think it was more like $700.
